Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. Our first visit but will definitely return. Such a lovely dining experience. We had the matching wines which really complemented the food. A very well thought out menu. Our favourite course was the sea bass. Can’t wait to see what other experiences are to come from the team.
What a great night last night was with the murder mystery! Very well thought out and lots of props to help solve the murder case! Had an amazing time and the food was bang on! I don’t eat fish but I do now! Guys thank you for such a great evening had the 6 course menu and wine pairing all was top notch from the service to the food and then the wine! Good job! Back next time
The food was just incredible! Absolutely delicious. You get a little menu thing that tells you thought that's gone in to each course. The atmosphere was great, nice warm lighting and where we sat was comfortable and away from the main part which did look a bit cramped. I loved that the toilet cubicles are spacious and include a private sinks and mirror. My only real complaint is I think most of the servers were students or similar. Not much experience. They were still delightful and polite but they overly pushed trying to upsell. Constantly asking us if we want another drink or snacks etc. That was not appreciated and there were water spots/ stains on our glasses and things like that. But none of that is the end of the world. It was still a lovely experience and tasted incredible! At the end I asked them to remove the service charge on the bill (personally I think it's a crime to include the service charge in the bill) and they did happily
Examplary service throughout our meal, which was delicious, exciting and memorable. The six courses were all fabulous, beautifully presented, imaginative and creative. We added on the cheese course which was a great combination of taste and texture. The Wine Flight was interesting and paired well with each course, it opened our eyes to differant parings which we may not have tried. We all loved the 6 Wonders of the world experience, It was challenging, fun and added another element to an already amazing dining experience. Highly recommend. We went to the opening night of Bristol restaurant for the Chippy experience and this was our next visit and tried Birmingham this time around. Both restaurants and experiences surpassed exception and we will be back for the next menu!
Great food, meat cooked to perfection. Staff knowledge of wines was amazing so was almost like having a meal but also getting a wine tasting session. All staff are very friendly and you can see they take time to train their staff.
Thank you so much for an amazing evening. We came to do the new murder mystery evening and it was so well done. Everything from start to finish was perfect from the service to the food and the mystery concept. Our group was really well looked after and it’s so nice to be recognised as regular customers who have done a lot of menus. Can’t wait to come back for the Italian road trip and many more in the future. Can’t thank you enough for an amazing evening!
We visited Six By Nico for my mums birthday and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in the staff were attentive, took our coats, sat us in the bar area and served us with stunning cocktails. Our waitress made the experience and I’m so upset I can’t remember her name (I think it may have been the spicy margs!) She was brilliant. Fine dining can often be pretentious when it needn’t be. The theme was Nostalgia and it was just that! The presentation was incredible and we opted for the cocktail pairing which was so fun and they were delicious. The team even brought over champagne for us to celebrate my mums birthday and really did make her feel special. The whole experience was fantastic and will be a memory both myself and mum cherish for a long time. We will definitely be back and will highly recommend to everyone we know! Thanks for a memorable night and special thanks to our lovely waitress!
Everything about this place is amazing! From the service, to the food, atmosphere and activities! The staff there were so friendly and were so passionate about their jobs. They are willing to have a conversation with you and are not just there to serve the food. The food was incredible so credits to the Chefs. The activity was fun and it’s definitely a different experience to other fine dining restaurants! Will definitely be returning back to try another set menu. The only thing I would say, it would be nice to have a little treat when you win at the end, as well as entering the prize draw - a nice little souvenir like a Six by Nico badge etc would be a nice touch.
